PSHA is a non-profit California corporation and the Pasadena Showcase House of Design ("Showcase") is produced as its annual benefit, combining the efforts of PSHA members with over 50 designers who transform the interior and grounds of an estate selected by PSHA. The 2007 Showcase is now closed.

The success of Showcase has resulted in cumulative donations almost $15 million to the Los Angeles Philharmonic, schools, and other local non-profit organizations.

In April 2007, Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts awarded gifts and grants to schools, symphonic associations, and other non-profit organizations. These gifts and grants were awarded in support of musically oriented programs, including music therapy, music education, and the underwriting of concerts.

The Disney Concert Hall was alive with laughter and music on October 20 as 4000 enraptured fourth grade students experienced an original orchestral theater production of The Music of Strauss and Mozart at the 53rd Annual Youth Concert of the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts (PSHA).
